Congratulations to Julie Kenney of North Providence who recently competed in the 2008 Nike Women’s Marathon in California on October 19th. Julie completed the 26-mile course in 4 hours/8 seconds and averaged a 9-minute mile pace as she conquered the grueling hills of San Francisco. This was Julie’s first marathon and is considered one of the most difficult in the country.
